# AI animation prompts you can copy and try

> This library collects 24 AI animation prompts in six groups: animated text, logo reveals, data and charts, product demos, explainers and vertical social clips. Good animation prompts describe the beats in order, quote the exact on-screen text, name the mood and colors, and say what the final frame shows. Every prompt opens in the generator with one click.

A library of briefs that animate well. Copy one, or open it in the generator and change the words, colors and pace.

## Anatomy of a good animation prompt

Motion is storytelling in time, so the most useful thing a prompt can do is give the order of events. Then add the words, the look and the ending.

- Opening: what is on screen in the first second
- Beats: what appears or changes next, in order
- Text: the exact words, in quotes
- Look: mood, colors, font style
- Ending: the still final frame

## The prompt library

### Animated text

- **Typewriter quote:** The quote “The best way to predict the future is to create it.” types out in a clean mono font with a blinking cursor on warm off-white, then the author name fades in below.
- **Word slam:** Kinetic type: “Work hard. Stay humble. Be kind.” Each word slams in large and centered, one per beat, alternating black on yellow and yellow on black.
- **Neon sign:** A neon sign that reads “Open Late” flickers on letter by letter against a dark brick wall, then glows steadily with a soft pink reflection below.
- **Elegant invitation:** Wedding title card: “Emma & Liam” writes itself in a flowing script, a thin gold line draws beneath, then “June 14, 2027” fades in, ivory background.

### Logo reveals

- **Line draw reveal:** The wordmark “atlas” in bold lowercase sans draws its outline stroke by stroke in white on black, fills in, and a small orange dot lands on the i.
- **Shape assemble:** Four colored squares fly in from the corners and snap into a 2x2 grid logo, the name “Quadra” slides out to the right, clean white background.
- **Glitch sting:** An energetic 5-second logo sting: the name “VOLT” glitches in with RGB split and scanlines, then locks into a clean electric-blue wordmark.
- **Premium outro:** Outro: a monogram “R” in a thin gold serif appears inside a slowly drawing circle on deep green, then “See you next week” fades in beneath.

### Data and charts

- **Growth bars:** A bar chart of revenue by quarter: Q1 $120k, Q2 $180k, Q3 $260k, Q4 $410k. Bars rise one by one with values counting up, then “+242% this year” appears.
- **Bar chart race:** A bar chart race of five programming languages over 5 years, bars reordering as values change, a year counter in the corner, bright colors on dark.
- **Big number:** One statistic: “2.4 billion” counts up from zero in huge bold type, the label “people use this every day” slides up, the number pulses once at the end.
- **Line chart story:** A line chart draws from left to right showing temperature rising since 1900, a red dot follows the line, and the caption “+1.2°C” appears at the end.

### Product demos

- **Dashboard highlight:** A clean SaaS dashboard: cards animate in, the cursor clicks a “This week” tab, a chart updates, and the caption “Answers in one click” appears.
- **Mobile onboarding:** Vertical phone mockup: three onboarding screens swipe past (Welcome, Pick topics, You're set), each with a simple icon, ending on the app name “Loop”.
- **Before and after:** Split screen: on the left a cluttered inbox with 243 unread, on the right a tidy inbox with 3 priority emails; a slider wipes from left to right.
- **Feature launch:** A “New” badge pops in, a UI card flips to reveal “Dark mode is here”, the interface switches from light to dark with a smooth wipe.

### Explainers

- **Three steps:** How it works in 3 numbered steps with flat icons: Upload, Analyze, Share. Each step's icon draws in with its caption, connected by a dotted path.
- **Water cycle:** An explainer of the water cycle for kids: sun, ocean, clouds and rain with arrows animating in a loop, labels Evaporation, Condensation, Precipitation.
- **Problem to solution:** A tangled knot of lines representing messy workflows untangles into three straight parallel lines, and the caption “Simple by design” appears.
- **Network effect:** Dots appear one by one and connect with lines, the network grows faster and faster, and a caption explains “Every new user makes it more valuable”.

### Vertical social clips

- **Countdown:** Vertical countdown: big numbers 3, 2, 1 flip in with a bounce on a gradient background, then “We're live!” bursts in with confetti.
- **Tip of the day:** Vertical tip card: “Tip #12” tag slides in, the tip “Save prompts you like and reuse them” types out, a lightbulb icon glows, pastel colors.
- **Sale announcement:** Vertical ad: “FLASH SALE” zooms in, “Up to 40% off” stamps below, a timer counts down from 24:00:00 for a moment, red, white and black.
- **Event teaser:** Vertical teaser for a conference: city skyline outline draws in, “Design Week 2027” rises, dates “May 3–5” and “Berlin” appear, bold and modern.

## Prompt FAQ

### What makes a good AI animation prompt?

The order of events, the exact on-screen text in quotes, the mood and colors, and what the final frame shows, in two to four sentences.

### Can I use these prompts for free?

Yes. Copy and adapt any prompt; you only spend credits when you generate an animation with it.

### Why did my animation come out different from the prompt?

Too many ideas in one clip is the usual cause. Keep one idea per animation, give the beats in order and quote the text exactly.
